Its rugged and attractive double-walled construction make the B-SV4D tough enough for transportation applications, yet attractive enough for retail enviroments. Featuring serial, parallel, and USB standard, the B-SV4D is capable of printing up to 5 inches per second. The B-SV4D is backed by TEC's standard 1-year warranty on parts and a 1-year or 1 million print inches warranty on the thermal head.
Day to day operations of the B-SV4D is user-friendly. The clam-shell design makes loading media easy. A wide-open design grants easy access to the print head and platens, which can be replaced without the need for a screwdriver.

Speed
With a print speed of 5” (127 mm) per
second, high speed printing is one of the
main features of the B-SV4D. Fitted with a
fast 32 bit RISC CPU for high throughput,
it also has a large 2 Mb DRAM image buffer
to give a maximum print length of 24 inches,
1 Mb Flash memory and optional 1 to 8 Mb
memory expansion for large data file storage.
Ease of use
Print head, paper and sensor access is made simple by the 90° cover opening mechanism, ensuring easy media loading and cleaning. Additionally a movable label sensor supports most media configurations.
Reliability
The B-SV4D has a robust double-walled cover design that protects the inner mechanisms against dust and external damage. Toolless replacement of the print head and a clip-in platen adds up to simple trouble-free maintenance. In addition to its competitive price, the B-SV4D is equipped with a high quality long-life thermal head (1 million linear inches /25 km life time) which contributes to a lower total cost of ownership.
